Doors is a personality based display serif created as part of a classroom typography project.
A deep appreciation for the underground posters of the 60s and the heavily transformative typography of Victor Moscoso coalesced into a connective font which may seem hard to understand at first, but which compels the viewer to come have a closer look.
No personality is uncovered at a glance. All those I've known linger and, even after im gone, begs understanding and deciphering.
The understated effort to put onself in brackets, I simply took the form an twisted it to fit my personality.The way each fragment connects with the next to form an unbroken mass was a conflict of the minute and the whole.
